Formed in 1993 in order to pursue single tenant retail development opportunities, the company is now one of the most aggressive developers and owners of properties in the Midwest.

Since its inception, Preferred has been a tenant-driven organization working with some of the nation's most respected retailers including Starbuck's, Bank of America, Jiffy Lube, Sherwin Williams, Chase Bank, Morgan Stanley, Five Guys Burgers, Aldi and Walgreens.
