Pro-Mix Audio and Lighting was founded in 1992 by Michael A. Klancnik. Pro-Mix was created as the first retail outlet catering specifically to disc jockeys, night clubs and other entertainment venues. Prior to opening Pro Mix Audio and Lighting, Mr. Klancnik spent 5 years in the radio industry working on-air and in commercial production as well owning and operating (and eventually selling) a successful multi-op, multi-state entertainment company that is still considered the "benchmark" on which many entertainment businesses are still modeled. Over the years Pro Mix Audio and Lighting has become the place to shop when seeking professional audio and lighting equipment and has evolved to fit the needs of the industry by expanding to also feature a large inventory of rental equipment.
