From milk to cheese, and milk powder to milk formula for infants. As a consumer, you naturally expect that these products are safe and of good quality. Qlip plays an important role herein. We provide independent quality assurance throughout the dairy chain. We provide audits and analyses in the field of food safety, quality, composition and sustainability. And we do this for the entire dairy chain, from farm to retail. Our auditors conduct over 13,000 audits and reviews of the functioning and fulfillment of specific quality systems annually. We also have the world's largest dairy laboratory with state-of-the-art technology. About 15 million milk samples from cows and goats are analyzed in this laboratory each year. Our qualified employees perform over half a million chemical and microbiological analyses. This results in large amounts of valuable data on a daily basis. With this information, dairy companies and dairy farmers can optimize their processes and business operations. Our internal quality system is designed to ensure that our operations comply with recognized national and international standards, regulations and guidelines. Various accreditation norms describe how we have to deal with these critical points. The Dutch Accreditation Council, an independent body, determines annually whether our business fulfills the requirements. Continuous development of our knowledge and expertise is crucial. We collaborate with customers, research institutes and suppliers to develop new technologies, standards, methods and products. A striking example of successful innovation is the fresh grazed grass indicator. We have made it possible to determine in milk whether cows have been grazing grass outside in the meadow.
