The R.B. Allen Company has been the leading fire alarm system supplier in New England since its incorporation in 1966 by Robert B. Allen Sr. Bob, as he was known, had previously been a longtime sales manager for the Gamewell Company. Upon Bob’s retirement, his son, R. Bruce Allen Jr. led the company through its growth years. The R.B. Allen company grew from five employees to 40+ employees and continues to service all of New England, including notable buildings in the Boston skyline and many universities and hospitals across New England. Upon Bruce’s retirement in 2005, the company continued under the successful leadership of his brother, Jonathan Allen. The company has also recently welcomed a third generation. Bruce’s sons, Jeffrey and Lincoln Allen joined the management team in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
