Rawhide Ranch has operated as a camp in Southern California since 1963. Based in Bonsall, California, near Fallbrook in North San Diego County, it serves youth and school groups as well as individual campers, supported by a small to mid-sized team. Programs run September through May for youth and school groups, with summer and winter options available for individuals aged 7 to 15. The camp provides activities such as western riding, vaulting, animal care, and horse science classes, all taught by certified instructors. It holds accreditation from the American Camp Association and the Certified Horsemanship Association and is a member of the Western Association of Independent Camps. A recent collaboration with the Bonsall Unified School District established a veterinarian and animal science internship program for district students in grades 4-8.
