Ridiculous was founded in 2017 by a small group of industry veterans with over 25 years of experience. Our team is unique in how long we've worked together going back to our roots at Interplay Productions. We have experience on all major platforms and are licensed forNintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation. We have the technical expertise and acumen to work across multiple engines, including Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, and Lumberyard. We’ve built and supported titles using: Unity Engine: Extensive development experience across console, PC, XR, mobile, and next-gen pipelines for cross-platform shipping. Unreal Engine: Strong capability across gameplay engineering, systems work, tools development, optimization, and multi-platform delivery. Amazon Lumberyard: Leveraged on New World as a co-development partner with Amazon Games, contributing to engineering, design, 2D/3D art, and live-service feature delivery. Godot: Utilized for optimization and port development work, including Sonic Colors: Ultimate for Xbox and Switch platforms.
