Roberts Environmental was founded in 1949 by Leo Wasniewski as Roberts Refrigeration, focused on refrigeration and heating systems. In 1973, the company was incorporated under its current name, marking a strategic evolution into a full-service mechanical contractor. Today, Roberts delivers expert solutions in pipe fitting, sheet metal, HVAC systems, controls, test and balance, and 24/7 service and maintenance.

In 2011, Cory Wasniewski, an accomplished aerospace engineer, joined the business. Today, he leads the company alongside Jim Wasniewski, guiding a team of seasoned union tradespeople, project managers, and technical specialists. Our team-first culture ensures collaboration, quality, and accountability at every stage — from concept and design to fabrication, commissioning, and long-term service.
