Rouge River Farms are engaged in the business of growing, packing and selling sweet corn to customers across the continent. Established 30 years ago with a small roadside stand; Rouge River has grown to the point where we now distribute to many valued grocery chains in both Canada and the United States. We have growing locations in Florida, Georgia and Ontario which allow us to provide fresh sweet corn to the market year round. Generally, sweet corn purchased in the winter months will have been sourced out of Florida. The spring and fall seasons see us in Georgia and the summer months keep us busy harvesting Ontario corn. No matter the growing location, Rouge River Farms works to ensure that product is harvested at the premium date, cooled immediately and then loaded for transport. Handling produce in the proper way, and transporting it as quickly as possible helps to ensure that what ends up on your plate at the end of the day is of the utmost quality and freshness.
