SAI launched our public works service with assignments for highway and bridge design and bridge inspection in 1964.  Since then, we have earned a reputation for our civil engineering expertise.

In 1996 the employees of SAI purchased the company, and SAI became an ESOP Corporation.  An employee-owned professional consulting engineering firm, SAI has over 140 professionals and support staff with a corporate office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and three additional offices in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Central Florida.
