Samsara Sciences, Inc., is dedicated to the provision of high-quality primary human liver cells for use in pharmaceutical and academic research focused on liver health and disease. We routinely isolate primary human liver cells (stellates, Kupffer Cells, liver-derived endothelial cells, and hepatocytes) from both healthy and confirmed NAFLD donors.  All our donor tissues are reviewed and scored by a board-certified pathologist providing a NAFLD score and grades of steatosis, fibrosis, and inflammation.   Our strong academic ties and the collective expertise of our collaborators, advisors, and staff ensure that each lot of cells that we offer is backed by a deep understanding of the origin of the cells and the phenotype, including marker expression profile and gene expression profile, at the time they are sold. Customers can purchase tissue sections, nucleic acids, and profile data in addition to the cells so that their experiments can be interpreted in the context of the cell origin and phenotype.   We offer matched sets of primary human liver cells derived from the same donor tissue along with the full companion products of snap-frozen tissue and FFPE- slides and blocks.
