Savant was founded in 1988 as an Information Technology consulting company. Our first engagement was to develop a way to replace the proprietary and expensive Reynolds and Reynolds terminals and printers used in car dealerships with this new and emerging technology called the PC. We later went on to develop a program to track Scuba dive logs called Dive Profiler, which was integrated with the first dive computers of the era from ORCA industries. In 1997 Stan Kidd became one of the first network technicians to acquire the Cisco Certified Network Expert certification. Shortly thereafter, Savant was hired by a large telecom carrier and became the early iteration of the company it is today, functioning primarily as a network infrastructure consulting firm. Over the years Savant has grown and taken on numerous new challenges as the technologies have changed and multiplied. Throughout our tenure we have always strived to provide our clients with services that enhanced and brought value to their businesses.
