Saxon Shoes has been in business since 1953 when Jack and Gloria Weiner opened their tiny shoe shop with nothing more than a few dollars and a dream. Today, Saxon is owned by that very same family and has grown to become one of the largest independent shoe stores in America. Customer satisfaction has always been a priority. And while their staff is well-trained to help customers find the best shoes, they desire to reach beyond the sales and out into the community searching for ways to meet the needs of people. Saxon Shoes has been voted by readers as the best shoe store in the area by Style Weekly, Richmond Magazine and Virginia Living. Saxon was honored in 2013 with the prestigious Impact Award from the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
