Second Home Pet Resort is Arizona's only all-suite, mountainside resort for pets.  Opened in 2008, this free-standing 17,000 s.f. resort offers boarding, full-service grooming, doggie day care in a spectacular setting.

We offer 24-hour staffing for your peace of mind; you'll know that your beloved pet is never left alone while you're away.  The facility includes Elite Suites, Pavilion Suites, TLC and Petite Suites for dogs.  For cats, the life of luxury includes both Kitty Condos and Cat Penthouses.  Dogs will enjoy at least three outdoor trips each day, while cats will spend at least an hour each day romping in their own personal cat play atrium.

At Second Home Pet Resort, we designed our facility and amenities with our own pets in mind. What did we expect from a pet resort when we traveled, or when seeking other services for our own pets? This resort, nearly 10 years in the making, is the culmination of years of careful study and thought. Both of the owners worked as animal welfare executives, running two of the most well-respected and state of the art animal shelters in Arizona. We also visited over 70 pet boarding facilities across the United States, combining the very best features and designs into one extraordinary destination resort for your pet.
