Shaker Workshops was founded in 1970 with the purpose of reproducing original Shaker furniture and oval boxes as faithfully and as economically as possible. Whenever possible, we use exactly the same grade and species of wood as in the originals. Shaker Workshops furniture is produced by our own skilled craftspeople in Massachusetts. Our pieces are also available as do-it-yourself kits for home assembly. 

We sell our Shaker furniture and oval boxes primarily through our retail showroom located in Arlington, Massachusetts and  own mail order catalog.  We sell to Shaker villages and museums in the U.S., both for their own use and for sale in their gift shops.  We work with architects, interior designers, and cabinetmakers worldwide.  We export worldwide both on a retail and wholesale basis.  We currently have distributors in Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Sweden, The Netherlands, and United Kingdom.
