Shmerykowsky Consulting Engineers is a structural engineering firm based in New York City. Our firm provides structural analysis and design services for commercial clients. High-rise design is our speciality, but our work has spanned a variety of project types, including high-rise tenant work, new construction in urban and suburban markets, and light industrial-to-commerical conversion. 

Our principals are licensed in Washington D.C. and 14 states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. We compete with the top firms in our industry and work with corporate clients such as A&E Television Network, Marsh & McLennan, and Apple, property owners and developers like Jones Lang LaSalle, SL Green, CB Richard Ellis, and architects including Gensler, Interior Architects, and Studios Architecture.

SCE principals have over five decades of experience in the business. John Shmerykowsky, P.E. is a former partner of structural engineering firm Weiskopf & Pickworth and served as partner-in-charge on several high-rise new construction projects, such as the Financial District's 33 Maiden Lane and Midtown Manhattan's 750 7th Avenue. He is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Marco Shmerykowsky, P.E. has engineered new construction efforts such as the 5 Times Square high-rise  and a 300,000 square feet commercial expansion project for A&E Television Network. He is registered with the NCEES.

Working hand in hand with our principals, our staff of experienced project engineers use BIM software like Revit to develop detailed and accurate computer models. Our engineers also employ electronic document processing software to streamline the review of construction documents, providing the quick turnaround that our clients expect.
