Shums Coda Associates represents a building, fire and life-safety consulting company that has been in business since 2006. The basis of the company philosophy is derived from the name, as Shums translates very literally as sun - or symbolically as a beginning; and knowledge - which is based on code expertise of the founding principals.  Coda - represents the focus of our efforts, which is to add significant energy and information to the final stages of building construction and the permit process.  Thus our services are intended to be a beginning to end product that will enlighten and assist all clients with expediting the construction of code compliant structures.
