Skiddle, established in 2001 and based in Longridge, England, operates a live events services platform centered on ticketing and event discovery. It started as a student events guide and began selling tickets in 2006, expanding across the UK and much of mainland Europe, with a self-service model that lets nearly anyone sell tickets for events of any size and receive promotional support. The platform is used by prominent promoters such as Cream, Live Nation, Festival Republic, Mamaco, Ministry of Sound, and AMG, and it provides sellers with demographic data about ticket buyers, alongside an editorial section focused on festivals, live music, and club nights. It attracts close to two million unique users each month and more than five million page views, and in 2014 it sold over one million tickets across a range of events from underground club nights to large-scale festivals and conferences. Promotioncentre was recognized as a finalist for the Ticketing Business of the Year at the 2026 Ticketing Business Awards.
