SlingFin, Inc. started at the top of the mountains in 2010 with a focus on designing expedition tents for peaks like Everest.  We are proud to say they withstood some of the world's harshest conditions, keeping their occupants protected and sheltered.  We have since then worked our way down the mountain to treeline backpacking tents.  Continuing the commitment to design, quality and strength, SlingFin, Inc. has applied much of the technology from the expedition tents to this most recent line of backpacking tents.  Enabling us to offer a durable and livable shelter in a thru hiker's ideal weight range.  

With over 30 years experience in the industry SlingFin, Inc.'s tent designer, Martin Zemitis, has an impressive and award winning design resume.  Our patented WebTruss™ is one example of his genius and of SlingFin, Inc.'s quality.  Designed to provide unmatched strength and to enable easier set up in adverse conditions the WebTruss™ is one of the pieces of technology we have adapted from our expedition line to our backpacking tents.

SlingFin, Inc. is currently working on product development and is seeking investors/investment to launch our new products (with protected IP) that will revolutionize the tent and backpack industries.

Based in Berkeley, California the SlingFin, Inc. brand name is known amongst professional mountaineers and is making it's way into the much larger backpacking market.  SlingFin, Inc. is about to be the next big name in the outdoor industry.
