Soechi Group operates in maritime transportation, primarily through Soechi Lines, delivering services across oil, gas, and chemical transport. The company began as an oil and gas sub-contractor in 1970 and was formed as Soechi Lines in 1977, growing into one of Indonesia's largest tanker operators. It runs a mixed fleet of about 35 vessels, ranging from small tankers to VLCCs, with routes spanning domestic Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and connections to India and the Middle East. The group has expanded into shipyard services by building its own yard on Karimun Island, Riau Province, a project that was 53% complete at the end of 2013. The group maintains long-standing relationships with oil sector clients, emphasizing reliability and quality in its transportation and related services. In recent years, it has pursued fleet digitalisation through a partnership with Kongsberg Digital to implement Vessel Insight on six crude oil tankers and LPG carriers.
