We are committed to the safety of our community and preventing damages to underground facilities in South Carolina.

Formed and funded by statewide member companies as a result of the Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act, SC811, a not for profit company, has been working hard to damage prevention and safety since 1978. SC811 now operates under the Underground Facility Damage Prevention Act, which became effective June 7, 2012. SC811 is governed by a board of directors composed of facility operators and damage prevention stakeholders that are members of the association.
