Southern Boating Magazine was launched in 1972 by Skip Allen, an ardent sailor, yachtsman, and publisher, whose lifelong career was in the marine industry.

Since then, Southern Boating Media group has evolved to produce custom content, events, a multitude of web tools, a library of boating resources, video products, and much more. 

Southern Boating continuously brings the best of the boating lifestyle to our readers.
