Southern Chemical Solutions (SCS) offers value-added chemistries for the upstream production market, midstream crude oil movement space and the downstream crude oil refining market along with solutions & sourcing for the refined petroleum products market and derivatives market segments.  

Specifically, SCS offers a product line range of proprietary flow assurance chemistries, concentrated & field strength oilfield production chemicals and common oilfield chemicals along with petrochemical bases, derivatives, and feedstocks. Coupled with this offering, SCS focuses on a  value-added approach that is driven by the identification of hard and soft cost savings, production or throughput increases and increased efficiencies for our clients in the upstream, midstream and downstream markets.

Upstream Production -  Unique & proprietary chemistries specifically tailored for the treatment of flow assurance issues related to paraffinic, asphaltenic and heavy low API gravity crude oils along with a host of commonly used production chemicals applied in the oilfield.

Midstream Movement - Permanent effect on the rheology of paraffinic, asphaltenic and heavy crude oils allowing for flow improvement resulting in increased throughput and less operational challenges like plugging, occlusions and pigging failures.

Downstream Activities - Solids drop, emulsion breaking and process unit fouling solutions for refining aspects related to lower API gravity crude streams, paraffinic and asphaltenic streams along with product offerings of petrochemicals and refined product additives.
