In 1972, The Spaghetti Warehouse was born, in the warehouse district of the West End of Dallas, Texas. An abandoned pillow factory was the setting for a fresh dining concept utilizing the authentic Italian family recipes of Chef Victor Petta, Jr., who had long specialized in authentic Italian cooking. He developed Spaghetti Warehouse’s patented system of spaghetti preparation. The unconventional venue and old-world recipes attracted the masses and brought new energy to a fledgling community and life to the empty streets of West End, spurring significant development in the area.
