SPD Swiss Precision Diagnostics GmbH (SPD) is a world leader in the research, design and supply of advanced consumer diagnostic products. SPD was formed in 2007 as a joint venture between Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Alere (now a part of the Abbott group, since October 2017).

SPD’s headquarters is in Geneva, Switzerland, and our Innovation Centre is in Bedford, UK.  We also have a site in Shanghai, China.  SPD employs more than 180 people.
