Species360 is a non-profit organization serving the global community of zoos, aquariums and other wildlife organizations in more than 95 countries. Our mission is to facilitate international collaboration in the collection and sharing of knowledge on animals and their environments.

WORLD STANDARD
With almost half a century of global animal information and best practices within a thriving community of member institutions, Species360 has long been recognized as the world-standard best practice for animal records management. ZIMS data is preferred by international regulatory bodies worldwide, such as CITES. The World Association of Zoos & Aquariums (WAZA) recommends ZIMS to all their members, and the European Association of Zoos & Aquariums (EAZA) requires their members to be Species360 members. Over 93% of the zoo members in the American Zoo & Aquarium Association (AZA) are also Species360 members.
