Student Assurance Services, Inc. is an agency that specializes in providing student accident insurance for public and private schools and institutions for higher learning.  The agency was established in 1971 by Mark Desch, and has focused exclusively on developing and administering student health and accident insurance programs.  Currently we service 1,500 public school districts, over 500 private schools, and over 180 colleges and universities.  The company is admitted to do business in 38 states and is licensed as an agency and third party administrator.  Student Assurance Services, Inc. has twenty six employees in our home office in Stillwater, Minnesota; the majority of the employees are dedicated to claim processing.

The advantage that we have in the marketplace is our ability to design, underwrite and administer plans that meet the needs of schools.  Our goal is to develop a long term relationship with each institution.
