The roots of Summit Management Services, Inc. (SMSI) date back to 1979, when Herbert Newman began a successful career purchasing, renovating and operating over 15 properties in SMSI’s original submarket. 

Since then the focus has turned to high-end, luxury apartments in trendy neighborhoods, but the foundation of SMSI’s success remains the same.

Over three decades of property management, we’ve learned that when our property owners, property managers, maintenance and office staff work tirelessly with residents to deliver an outstanding residential experience, it also delivers business success: extraordinary apartment and condominium developments in Northeast Ohio and now, across the nation.
