Since February 2023, Swedish Match is wholly owned by Philip Morris International and has over 7,500 employees, of whom 40 percent were women, with the largest number of employees in the Dominican Republic, the U.S., and Sweden followed by Brazil, the Philippines, and the Netherlands.

Production is located in seven countries, with sales concentrated in Scandinavia and the US. The Swedish Match head office is located in Stockholm, Sweden. Sales for 2022 amounted to 22,417 MSEK.
