Tout commence pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. Face aux pénuries qui frappent l’industrie pharmaceutique, Danielle Roches, infirmière au service ophtalmologique des Hôpitaux de Paris, formule un baume à base de plantes réparatrices pour soigner les blessés brûlés aux yeux. Elle remarque alors un effet secondaire époustouflant : au-delà̀ de cicatriser les brûlures de ses patients, sa crème à base de plantes stimule la pousse de leurs cils et de leurs sourcils de façon spectaculaire.

Cette merveilleuse découverte, Danielle Roches se devait de la partager avec les femmes. En 1948, elle commercialise le 1er soin pour la pousse des cils de Talika, la crème de la pousse des cils. C’est le début de la destinée de TALIKA.
