Tankersley Construction is the vision of Steve Tankersley. Steve has a decade  of direct experience in large commercial construction project management and wanted to change the way construction project management is delivered to the small and midsize project owner. Steve realized the only way to find a company they wanted to be a part of was to create that company. 
 
With a legal pad in front of him,  Steve formulated a business plan. On one side of the page, he wrote down everything they knew that worked well, and on the other side, everything that didn't. He ripped the page in half and kept what would become the governing principles of Tankersley Construction - integrity, value, and a commitment to always put the needs of the client above the needs of themselves. 
 
From that initial paper, a business concept was born that would provide the construction management resources of a multi-million dollar project to any client, regardless of project size.
