TBI specializes in spectacular custom homes and distinctive remodeling projects in and around the Western Suburbs of Chicago.  In 2012, Tartan Builders was founded on the principals learned under the direct guidance of their late Father, James McNaughton of James McNaughton Builders, Inc.  Brothers, Ryan and Scott McNaughton aim to continue the sound reputation and exemplary product affiliated with the McNaughton name.  TBI is based out of the family’s longtime office, built over 30 years ago in Hinsdale, Ill.
