TPREL, a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, is one of India's foremost players in the renewable energy sector and is dedicated to transforming the energy landscape of India and contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.


Our Portfolio:
With a diverse range of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hybrid, RTC, peak, floating solar and cutting-edge storage systems, we are actively involved in the entire lifecycle of these projects – from development to operations and maintenance. We also provide comprehensive green energy solutions for rural and urban areas, covering utility-scale projects, solar rooftops, and solar pump systems.


Solar Manufacturing:
TPREL operates a state-of-the-art solar cell and module manufacturing plant with 530 MW solar cells and 682 MW modules in Bengaluru. We're committed to expanding our manufacturing capabilities and plan to establish a Greenfield 4.3 GW solar cell and solar module plant in Tamil Nadu.

Our Impact:
As of today, TPREL's total renewable utility capacity is 7946 MW, including 3755 MW in various stages of implementation and an operational capacity of 4191 MW, comprising 3185 MW in solar and 1006 MW in wind. Our solar EPC portfolio exceeds 11.5 GWp of ground-mount utility-scale, with over 1.7 GW of rooftop and distributed ground-mounted systems and more than 100,000 solar water pumps. We also offer electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions across various segments, supporting the adoption of clean transportation.
