Established in 1892 by Charles C. Hart, one of America's pioneer seedsmen, The Chas. C. Hart Seed Co. is still proudly owned and operated by the 4th and 5th generations of the Hart family.  We oversee the production and distribution of packet seeds, bulk vegetable & flower seed, lawn seed, fertilizers and other professional turf management products to independent dealers, golf courses, sports fields, educational institutions and landscape professionals throughout the Northeastern United States. 

As one of the Northeast's leading "full-line" seed houses; we offer highly pure, quality flower & vegetable seed, turf & fairway mixtures, bentgrasses, lawn mixtures, native wetland & reclamation mixtures in addition to specialized wildflower mixtures for a wide-range of growing conditions.

We maintain an extensive inventory of stock mixtures to fit practically any application, plus we specialize in custom blending to meet the needs of specific job requirements.
