Founded in 1872, The Hatch and Bailey Co. supplies quality lumber, millwork, concrete block and building materials to home builders, contractors, and commercial and industrial businesses. We proudly serve greater Fairfield County customers at two locations, in South Norwalk and Stamford. Both locations are full-service lumber yards, offering plywood, lumber, millwork, and other building materials, all top quality you can depend on. Our South Norwalk location also manufactures concrete blocks which are sold by local distributors. Our lumberyard used to be located in the heart of historic South Norwalk where the Maritime Garage is currently located. In 1986 the City of Norwalk claimed eminent domain and Hatch and Bailey moved to their current location one mile south of the Sono Movie Theater at One Meadow Street Extension in South Norwalk.
