About The Human Bean

With a passion for creating happy human beans and a commitment to developing the very best coffee drive-thru in Southern Oregon, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland, Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew, and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon, franchising the brand system in 2002. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients. Today, we have over 300 locations open or in development in 25 different states across the country. 

We expect additional growth through approved franchisees across the nation who share our dedication to high-quality coffee and service. Moving forward, our brand is committed to remaining true to the successful operations on which The Human Bean was founded. With exceptional products, attractive and efficient facilities, and an exceptionally trained and qualified team, we have the tools needed to be the consumers'​ brand of choice.
