Founded in 1994, The Information Store (iStore) provides integrated products and services for the oil and gas industry focused on maximizing the value of data. Our solutions help our clients discover and maximize reserves and improve production by providing easy access to organized, high-quality data. 

iStore was born out of an industry–wide effort to improve the way E&P data was managed and utilized. In 1994, a group of former participants from POSC (a not for profit organization with a mission to standardize the data model for the upstream sector) formed iStore. They shared not only a common background rich in petroleum industry experiences, but had the technical know–how to implement practical and realistic solutions.

Through iStore's expertise and experience in petroleum engineering, geosciences, and software, we have developed and can quickly deliver innovative solutions, technology, and services to provide oil and gas professionals fast and easy access to reliable and organized information, maximize hydrocarbon production and reserves, optimize asset operations, and prioritize and evaluate opportunities in fields, reservoirs, and wells.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, iStore is a privately held company with worldwide operations, servicing clients in North America, Latin America, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.
