The Lundquist Institute is a nonprofit biomedical research organization, affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, that pursues translational science to move clinical challenges into laboratory inquiry and back into patient care. Based in Torrance, California, the institute supports a broad program of research with hundreds of investigators and staff, conducting hundreds of active studies and dozens of clinical trials annually across areas such as cancer, immunology, respiratory medicine, and cardiology, as well as translational genomics and advanced therapeutics.
