The Sign Place is fully licensed and insured, and has been family owned and operated, right here in San Luis Obispo, since it’s founding in 1989. Over the years, we have partnered with thousands of companies and institutions, large and small, to develop professional signage of all varieties.

Sign making has come a long way from the days of hand carving and painting. We utilize the latest in wide format and flatbed printing technologies, laser and rotary engraving systems, and digital vinyl film cutting systems to offer the widest possible range of sign fabricating options. And we take pride in our ability to respond to any signage installation requirement. We have the necessary people, licenses, insurance, skills and equipment to successfully install a variety of signage.
