For more than 30 years, Vision of Children has been at the forefront of unlocking the secrets to cures for genetic eye disorders. Researchers across the globe, funded by the Vision of Children Foundation, have made groundbreaking discoveries regarding the disease mechanism of genetic vision disorders affecting children by using Ocular Albinism (OA) as a template disease. We are confident that upon discovering a treatment or cure for this condition, the same techniques can be applied to identify similar treatments for a number of related vision disorders. Additionally, The Foundation is dedicated to supporting families and children affected by hereditary blindness while fostering global collaboration among researchers. Our passion for our mission continues to be inspired by our son as we aim to drive progress in understanding and treating genetic vision disorders, ultimately improving lives and enhancing the quality of care for those affected.
