Titan started TASCOA, a structural tube manufacturing subsidiary in 1980 (sold to Copperweld in 1997); PESCO, a rebar distribution subsidiary in 1985 (sold to Birmingham Steel in 1991); a US tinmill service center business in 1988; and a logistics business in 2004.
