Tolo Events LLC is a full-service, award-winning event management, planning and design company for businesses and non-profit organizations.  In 2002, after nearly eight years as Director of Development and Major Events for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Shelly Tolo founded the company to assist others in taking their corporate and charitable events to the next level.

Tolo Events works hand in hand with its clients to create a memorable event that is distinctly theirs -- all while staying on budget.  Welcoming staff and volunteers to become involved in the creative process, Tolo Events leads the process while enabling everyone to feel ownership of the outcome.  

Tolo Events is especially honored to have been selected to produce the Pennsylvania Governor’s Inaugural Ball. This amazing black tie party for 4,000 took place on January 18, 2011.

In recognition of the outstanding work Tolo Events provides, it has been awarded a 2012 Gala Award, 11 Emerald City Applause Awards since 2007 and has been recognized as one of three finalists for a 2012 Esprit Award in the category of Best Design Decor.  Tolo Events was also a finalist for a 2003 and 2005 Gala Award.
