We are an independently owned toy store that has been a part of helping Austin, Texas think fun since 1987. Located just two blocks north of the University of Texas, Toy Joy has always delighted in catering to children of all ages, whether that means keeping track of the latest toy trends, or keeping a selection of nostalgic favorites.

As of October 2008, Toy Joy has expanded to include a cafe amongst a sea of Japanese collectibles. The cafe menu includes organic hot and iced teas, coffee, espresso, shakes and our own home-made dairy free, vegan soft serve! The softserve flavor changes every Wednesday, and is posted on the front page of our site. Pop over for a sample if you are unsure. We also serve bubble tea, the trendy tapioca treat with the giant straw! Everything from Hello Kitty and rare, desirable candy to tin robots, dinosaurs, and magical unicorns — you'll always find something new and unique here!
