triangle is one of the longest surviving live theatre companies in the Portland metro area and will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary season in the fall 2014. The company produces five productions per year, generally newer works from Broadway or off-Broadway as well as one new work cultivated by the company. 

triangle productions! mission is to entertain and educate through the celebration and presentation of contemporary live theatre, and to promote diversity and tolerance through the presentation of accessible, high-quality productions addressing a broad range of social and political issues.

triangle has a permanent production facility at 1785 NE Sandy Blvd Portland and has just signed a five-year lease extending time at The Sandy Plaza through 2019. The company’s longevity is due in part to innovative programming and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing market. triangle has been consistent in its key staff, ten-member board, continually evaluating and improving its services to ensure patrons receive the highest value for their arts dollars. The company has a record of touring such shows as “Rose”, “Night with Day”,  “Soph”, “Dishin’ with Divine” and “I Love You-You’re Perfect-Now Change” to various cities on the west coast. 

Playwright and founder Donnie is an international author of 7 books and over 15 plays and musicals and is a furious gatherer of historical facts. He has won various awards for his works with subjects ranging from Tonya Harding to Gracie Hansen.
 
While triangle productions! is extremely proud of its history of using theatre to promote greater understanding and tolerance, it sees itself as a theatre that provides something for everyone and offers some of the best theatrical entertainment in the area
