Tuskegee University is a private, state-related higher education institution located in Tuskegee, Alabama. With a history spanning more than 138 years, its legacy includes Booker T. Washington's emphasis on practical training and educating the heart as well as the head, alongside contributions from George Washington Carver and the Tuskegee Airmen.
