Company Overview
TuTTie's Place is a 501 c (3) nonprofit corporation governed by a 9-member Board of Directors. We are licensed by the Department of Human Resources to provide residential services to adolescent males in the foster care system. The company was founded by Brenda Boyd, Executive Director and is named in memory of her deceased daughter, whose nickname was Tuttie. The program was founded to keep sibling groups in the foster care system together as a family unit and has since broadened its services to include youth ages 14-21. We are committed to preparing the youth to be responsible, respectful, accountable and encourage them to acquire a love for learning that will lead to a high school diploma and an interest in higher education.

General Information
We are now promoting ourselves as a residential wellness center for youth and take a holistic approach to our services by addressing the mind, body, and energy of the child. The youth are taught self-healing tools such as meditations, YOGA, REIKI, Reflexology, Qigong, massage, Emotional Freedom Techniques to name a few that allows them to self-soothe and self-supervise themselves. This is an alternative approach to psychotropic medications. We have an on-site labyrinth for walking meditations.
