TXRX Labs is a nonprofit makerspace and community workshop based in Houston, Texas, providing training, workspace, and resources to a broad spectrum of creators, including makers, artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and hobbyists. The organization operates from a 65,000-square-foot facility that supports cross-disciplinary fabrication and making activities, offering access to shared spaces and equipment for hands-on learning and collaboration. Its mission is to make fabrication, design, and technical education accessible to all, through public classes, youth outreach, artist residencies, and workforce development programs. In 2020, TXRX Labs partnered with Urban Partnerships Community Development Corp. to develop the East End Maker Hub, a coworking makerspace intended to support companies operating in equipment manufacturing, heavy fabrication, and hardware innovation. The work helps connect a local community to practical education and hands-on making resources outside traditional educational settings.
