U1 Technologies was founded in San Francisco in 1998 by technical experts in the areas of cybersecurity, enterprise messaging, and distributed applications development. 

Our platform was the first Java-based pub/sub engine ever developed and heavily influenced the JDBC/JMS v1 specs. Our implementation was the first application certified by Sun Microsystems as 100% pure Java.
