UAS Labs, LLC was acquired by Chr. Hansen in 2020. In December 2022, Chr. Hansen and Novozymes entered into an agreement to create a leading global biosolutions partner by combining the two companies. The goal was to unleash the full potential of biological solutions and generate significant value for all stakeholders and society. The combination was completed in January 2024 and Novonesis was born.

The company was fully integrated from formulation through manufacturing, packaging and marketing, and adhered to the highest quality standards. UAS made significant investments to research, streamlined their operations through new technology and innovations, and introduced new products.
