United Catcher Boats is a trade organization established in 1993 to represent owners of vessels that trawl for groundfish in the Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska, and West Coast fisheries. Many member vessels also have a long history of Bering Sea crab fishing in addition to their groundfish operations. The group coordinates efforts among harvesters to support rational fisheries management, sustain yields, reduce bycatches, and keep member vessels competitive in the industry. It is based in Seattle, Washington, and operates within the maritime transportation sector, serving a small community of vessel owners. In November 2024, United Catcher Boats appointed Andrea Keikkala as executive director, marking a leadership change for the organization.
