United Pipe & Steel operates as a master distributor in the trucking and distribution sector, based in Ipswich, Massachusetts. It supplies steel pipe—both domestically produced and globally sourced—along with copper tubing, plastic pipe, electrical conduit, and related products to independent wholesale distributors. Its customer base spans multiple markets that rely on piping and fittings, including plumbing and heating, PVF, HVAC, waterworks, fire protection, pool supply, lumber yards, fencing, steel service centers, and electrical supply. The company serves as a single source for a broad range of piping and related components used in construction and maintenance, helping distributors source critical goods efficiently. This positions United Pipe & Steel as a specialized intermediary within the truck transportation and industrial distribution landscape. In July 2024, the firm announced the appointment of Gary Lane as West Coast Regional Sales Manager, a development indicating ongoing leadership expansion.
